Non-Executive Chair and Board Directors
Screen WM is the lead agency for film, television and digital media in the West Midlands, a region that is driving innovation and excellence in screen media.
After an exceptional year, Screen WM now has over £16m to invest in film, TV and digital media, including a £10m Digital Media Fund in partnership with Channel 4, a £4m Feature Film Fund and a three-year funding commitment from the UK Film Council.
With significant investment funds and partnerships in place, a new CEO, a restructured agency and an ambitious three-year plan, Screen WM is entering into an exciting phase of development, and is seeking to appoint a new Chair who can connect Screen WM at a national and international level.
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative individual who can bring fresh ideas and new skills to our Board. A Chair who will champion our region as a centre of excellence for digital media development, film making, new talent and diversity at the highest level. And most importantly, who can create new national and international partnerships to benefit the agency and the pioneering media industry in the West Midlands.
We’re also looking for three new Board Directors with the energy and drive to support Screen WM through its next stage of development with their skills and expertise in film, digital media and finance.
Screen WM’s Board meets six times a year in Birmingham. The Chair will be required to attend a minimum of four Board meetings.
