Walking to work this morning, despite it being another rainy Monday in August, I felt an unusually sense of excitement...the launch of our new website today marks another milestone in Screen WM's evolution. Yes, I know, it's only a website but it takes the agency into the online world in ways we've never been before.

As Screen WM has broadened its remit to reflect the rapidly changing media world, this site now acts as a virtual agency showcasing the region's talent, providing easy access to our services and through the Screen WM Channel and our Blogs, we hope, a new insight into our work. Find out more about the development of the site here.

I started as CEO last September with the remit to take the agency to its next phase of growth. This site is the latest in a whole range of new developments taking place at Screen WM. We've got two new departments and some fantastic new members of the team, exciting new funds such as 4iP and our Investment Fund. To hear me talk more about these changes watch this.

It's been a great first year in post but actually the real work starts now that we've got the building blocks in place. There's a world of opportunity for our region and it's our job to make sure we're making the most of it. Exciting times lie ahead...

I would love to hear your views about the site, the changes to the agency or what you'd like to see us doing...contact me

Great to see you and your team blogging Suzie. I've put a few things up about 4ip on my own site (http://daveharte.com) as it's a really exciting investment opportunity for the region and one I know quite a few creatives are waiting to make the most of. The 4ip blog itself (http://www.4ip.org.uk/blog) is really very good and the posts and comments give some excellent insights into what kind of projects Channel 4 are hoping to see. Like you they also use a lot of video (any way to embed your video? maybe put it on Vimeo or Youtube?). Dave
