Digishorts opens for submissions!
Digishorts returns to support the production of 6 short digital films made by the freshest and most innovative new filmmaking talent in the West Midlands.
We’re seeking fresh filmmaking by the best and brightest in the region. The scheme is open in genre, and films can be live-action, animation or documentary. As long as they meet the entry requirements, we’ll look at them. You can apply for up to £10,000 and the deadline for submissions is 5pm on Monday 9th November 2009.
The scheme is joint-funded by Screen WM, supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), and the National Lottery via the UK Film Council’s New Cinema Fund.

We’ll be touring the region to expand further on what we’re looking for, explaining the application process, and showing some of our most recent films. There will also be a chance to pose questions to Screen WM staff and recently awarded filmmakers.
