Description: An introductory practical grounding in location sound recording for self shooting production staff including, as far as possible, bespoke elements to meet the individual needs of delegates. This course can be run as a bespoke event but we need 4 delegates for this to be possible. 1to1 coaching sessions are possible and with adequate resources this course can be run on your premises.
Who it's for: all self-shooting production staff
Aims:
to understand the basic principles of location sound recording
to choose and deploy appropriate and commonly used equipment
recognise and correct common faults
to enable the acquisition of best quality sound
Sessions include:
microphone types - choosing & using
radio mic systems - setup & operation
common self shoot camera facilities
an introduction to sound mixers
Duration: 1 day
Training fee: £310
