Film & Media Production Fund
Since 2004 the Film & Media Production Fund has supported the production of feature films and major broadcast projects in the West Midlands.

- Clubbed
The Film & Media Production Fund can invest up to £500,000 towards a project's budget. We will invest in productions that contribute to building a sustainable screen media economy in the West Midlands.
Although funding is primarily targeted at feature film projects, we can also invest in interactive games production, single TV dramas, and feature length documentaries. We are open to other proposals as well, although please be aware that short films are not eligible for funding - see the Short Film funding page for more information on support for short film production.
If you are interested in applying to the Film & Media Production Fund, we ask that you start by contacting Amy Newbery to discuss the project - see details below. If we decide the project could be eligible to receive support, we may ask you to submit further details through an Expression of Interest form, available once you have spoken to us.
Once you submit your Expression of Interest, you should allow up to 3 months for a final decision, which breaks down as follows:
- Once the EOI form is submitted, please allow 3-4 weeks for our panel to review your project.
- We may ask for more information, e.g. the script, and the assessment of this can take a further 4 weeks.
- If we decide to invest in your project, the contractual stage can typically take between 6 and 8 weeks.
Please bear in mind that we do not accept unsolicited scripts and proposals. You should contact us to discuss your project before submitting any materials.
