The Investment fund for Education and Exhibition strands is now closed. Please revisit the website for future updates around new rounds of funding.

There is a 2 stage application process. The first stage is to make an initial Expression of Interest (EOI) to us by completing the relevant EOI form.

When should I apply?

Please note due to an unprecedented volume of applications for script development and talent development projects, we will not be accepting any new submissions to these areas of the Investment Fund until further notice.

For script development enquiries please contact Amy Newbery (email production@screenwm.co.uk marked 'for the attention of Amy Newbery' or call 0121 265 7120) in the first instance.

For talent development projects please contact Simon Flynn (email production@screenwm.co.uk marked 'for the attention of Simon Flynn' or call 0121 265 7120) in the first instance.

For more information on our deadlines, please read the funding guidelines.

How can I apply?

Firstly, you should read the Investment Fund guidelines (also available to download above) to make sure your project fits our criteria. The guidelines tell you everything you need to know in order to apply.

Our application form is now online. You'll need to set up a user account, and this enables you to save a part-completed form and keep track of what you've submitted.

Please see the FAQ section for help making your application. If you are unable to access the online application forms, please contact us.

What happens after I submit my EOI application?

We'll review the information you send and on that basis make a decision whether to invite you to make a full application or not. If we like the sound of your project and want to know more, a member of the team will be in touch to discuss how to make a full application and will also be available throughout the process to help and advise. If for any reason we choose not to invite a full application, we'll get in touch to discuss the reasons for our decision and advise on other ways to take the project forward.

Please be aware that it can take up to 10 weeks to be awarded funding: a maximum of 4 weeks from submission to receiving a decision on your Expression of Interest; around 2 weeks to put together your Full Application; and up to a maximum of 4 weeks from submission to receiving a decision on whether or not your project has been awarded funding.

We advise all applicants to read the Standard Conditions of a Lottery Grant before applying.

If you reach Full Application stage, you may also like to read the Assessment Criteria before making your Full Application so you know what the assessor will be looking for.

Projects that have been funded can download their KPI reporting templates from the 'downloads' section here
