We are keen to encourage media and film education projects that align with the strategies laid out in Film: 21st Century Literacy and Switching On To Media Literacy.

We are particularly interested in supporting projects which increase understanding of the world and it’s diversity for citizens of all ages, with particular focus on under 19’s, in line with Film: 21st Century Literacy. We are also eager to encourage media and film education activity that focuses on communities that are currently underserved, such as Black and Ethnic Minority Communities and/or brings together different communities and age groups for projects that fosters greater understanding and community cohesion.

We currently support education projects through the Investment Fund.

Screen WM is also the West Midlands’ regional partner for Mediabox.  The funding deadlines for Mediabox for this year have passed but we can provide support for individuals and organisations in the region who have been invited to Full Application for further info click here.

For more information on projects we have supported, visit the Case Studies page.
