MediaBox
Screen WM is pleased to be the West Midlands’ regional partner for Mediabox. We will be provide support for individuals and organisations in the region who would like to make an application for a Mediabox grant.
What is Mediabox?
Mediabox is £2 million fund from The Department for Children, Schools and Families. Its run by a consortium of First Light Movies, Media Trust, Skillset and the UK Film Council. It offers disadvantaged 13-19 year olds the opportunity to develop and produce creative media projects, using film, television, print, radio or interactive platforms.
Mediabox is for young people to: express their own opinions, ideas and views, gain new skills, encourage creativity, boost personal development and get their voices heard.
