Two productions that were shot on location in the West Midlands and received assistance from the Screen WM Locations Department are currently being broadcast.
A Baby Cow production for BBC 2, is being shown every Friday at 10pm is set and filmed in Coventry and features Coventry-born comedienne Emma Fryer. Stephen Badham, Production Liaison Manager, provided assistance on the initial recce in the city and during the filming period.
Brought to you by the team behind Doctors, was filmed in various locations around the West Midlands during the summer and was post-produced in characteristically snappy time by the production team at BBC Birmingham’s Drama Village. Screen WM provided suggestions for locations and members of the crew. Locals will recognise some of the region’s premiere properties including Stoneleigh Abbey, The Black County Living Musuem and Arbury Hall. The show is currently airing on Sunday evenings on BBC 1 and is available on the BBC’s iPlayer.
