Birmingham based film maker Steve Rainbow has just won the Best Comedy Award at the Chicago International Reel Film Festival, for his film ‘A small silent film about death’, taking the number of festivals this film has screened at up to eight.
Predominatntly shot in the Midlands with a Midlands cast and crew, the film is completely silent, as the title suggests, which Steve feels has has made is more accessable to a global audience. The film has also just been selected to screen at the Britspotting Film Festival in Berlin in November and can be seen on his website at www.rainbowfilms.co.uk
