Good ideas are hard enough to come by, but it is the successful development of these good ideas that increases a project's chances of attracting production finance. We consider funding for this activity to be vital if we are to have a vibrant production sector in the region.
We currently have two types of direct development support available:
- Script Grants
You may apply for a script grant if you want to develop a script to a first or second draft. You could be an individual scriptwriter or working as part of a production team. - The Advantage Development Fund
This new fund is designed to enable media production companies to research and develop new projects and to help progress or package ideas or scripts to a state of greater market readiness. It can be used for projects in film, television and/or digital media.
