In 2005 Sean Spencer (digital short Stripes; B romance rummiewood Four Little Letters) became the first filmmaker to be awarded a digital extreme commission from Screen WM and the UK Film Council. After an intensive development process the resulting film is Romance, an understated but uncompromising look at the effects of domestic violence.
