Knock, Knock

Dir. Roy Hocking

A five-minute exploration into the sometimes bizarre world of doors! Roy’s production experience includes countless credits as camera operator and camera assistant on local drama and documentary productions, and he has directed a number of drama projects. Producer Urmala Jassal is currently based at Light House Media Centre in Wolverhampton, and has worked on a wide range of community and broadcast projects.

Anonymous Humorous

Dir. Emma Cutler

The first night, for any comic, is the most terrifying moment of their career. This five minute documentary film follows Annette Fagon as prepares for hers. Emma is a keen photographer and has worked on numerous television productions.

Urban Savannah

Dir. Vincent Lund and Matthew Cooke

Two tribes roam the city centre landscape of Coventry. This 10 minute mockumentary studies them, in their natural habitat - from a safe distance, of course. Vincent and Matthew have been making films together for over three years, starting when they founded Rapid Pictures to facilitate their passion. To date they have made 11 films, five with a running time of half an hour or longer. Their films have been shown at several venues including, for three years running, at the Birmingham ArtsFest.

Dis Life

Tanya Bullock and Kaush Patel

A group of Walsall actors with learning disabilities rehearse a performance piece on the theme of disability. A ten minute documentary providing a personal insight into the complex issues surrounding disability. Tanya has extensive experience working with actors with learning disabilities, and has been a Performing Arts and Media Lecturer at Walsall College for nearly two years. Kaush is a freelance video worker and has worked on diverse projects for community and youth groups in the West Midlands .
