focus on freelancers aims to develop the craft skills of those working in the screen media industry. The fund targets both professional freelancers and individuals with contracts of employment of less than twelve months or less duration, with a minimum of 2 years experience within the screen media industry.
Part funded through the Skillset TV Freelance Fund, focus on freelancers is designed to provide both advice and guidance to those who need it, as well as financial assistance to attend industry recognised courses that will help improve individuals’ portfolio of skills as well as develop new ones.
Individuals choose to access whichever area of the fund suits best - or both if preferred!

support for industry recognised development courses
You have identified your training need/s which includes a training course with an industry recognised provider. We can offer up to 70% of your course costs as well as a contribution towards travel to and from the course location.
We have a rolling fortnightly deadline so will make every effort to give you an answer within four weeks of your application submission date.
