The key to successfully supporting the professional development of the industry in the West Midlands region, is ensuring all our activity and funding is directly related to the needs of the industry. Research and consultation is an important element of planning for training and development support.
Screen WM, in partnership with Learning & Skills Council, Birmingham and Solihull commissioned a study to identify the existing training provision for the Screen media sector. The 'West Midlands Screen Media - The Education and Training Insight' research will contribute to informing policy and strategy of skills education and training in the West Midlands.
