The Children is an original and relatively up-market chiller-horror spun out of the premise: “what if your children turned on you?” The story is set within the grounds of one large family house on the edge of a remote forest during the Christmas holidays.
Co-financed by Screen WM, the film is shot in Cookhill in Worcestershire and Ragley Hall in Warwickshire. The production featured 39% West Midlands crew as well as 4 trainees.
